What Is Reiki?

Rei (universal)  ki (energy) is a complementary practice originating in Japan in which the practitioner gently places their hands on or just above the body.

The practice is traditionally based on the concept of “Ki,” or vital energy, and aims to create a calm and deeply relaxing experience.

During a Reiki session, you remain fully clothed while Mamouchka places her hands gently on or above different areas of the body. There is no massage or physical manipulation, and the session is generally quiet and relaxing.

At Blue Eden in Pattaya, Mamouchka offers Reiki as a complementary wellness practice that can be experienced on its own or incorporated into a broader personalized approach.

What Does a Reiki Session Feel Like?

Everyone experiences Reiki differently. Some people describe sensations of warmth, tingling or deep relaxation, while others simply experience a quiet period of rest.

You do not need to follow a particular religion or belief system to receive Reiki. The experience can simply be approached as an opportunity to relax, slow down and focus on your wellbeing.

There is no side effects. Reiki is both powerful and gentle.
